Villa Gaia began as a living experiment in the Tuscan hills: what happens when a physical space becomes part of a network’s intelligence? For two years, people from different fields have come to stay, gather, research and build together.

One green community-owned data centre is already running in alpha. The plan is to scale it into live infrastructure for the network once investment reaches $150,000.
The proposed model lets supporters finance the build-out. After principal and interest are repaid under the agreed terms, the infrastructure remains owned by the community.
